Play video file

You can use the video entry to play your own video on the page. For reasons of compatibility, you should upload the video as an MP4 file.
Click on the "Upload file" button and select the desired file. Alternatively, you can also import a video from the media centre or drag and drop a file directly into the field with the dotted outline.

You can enter a description of the video in the text field - in case the video cannot be played.

Preview image

You can have additor® automatically generate a preview image or upload your own. Image editing options are available here. To generate an automatic preview image, please enter the desired film second in the field and save the entry. The next time you call up the entry, the image will be displayed and can also be edited.

Subtitles

In order to fulfil the accessibility requirements(WCAG 2.1 - criterion 1.2.2), you can upload a VTT file. This allows subtitles to be displayed in the video, which are particularly useful for people who cannot hear or have difficulty hearing.
