General page settings

Here you can find the general information on the site. In the text input field "page title", the name of the page template used is initially set. Enter your page title here, it will be displayed in the browser as the heading of the page.

Short title for menus, etc.
In this input field you have the possibility to specify a different menu title. Thus, in spite of long page titles, the menu titles remain short. This is useful for displaying on the web: The menu title is used in the menu, in the path specification, in the sitemap, and in the entry type "Link list of the subpages". If you do not assign a menu title, the page title is also used as a menu title.

Subtitle
If you have a subtitle for the page, you can enter it here.

Expiry date
You can specify an expiration date (ttmmjj) for the page that will automatically delete the page and its sections and entries.

Show page in the menu
The checkbox "Show page in the menu" determines whether the page is displayed in the menu or not.

Open the page in the new browser window
Use this checkbox to specify whether the page is opened by default in a separate browser window.
